In the afternoon after lunch we will do an introductory walk, first in a secondary forest and then in a primary forest full of huge trees and vines and creepers, at the same time we will talk about the most important economic activities of this region. Chances to see some brown capuchin monkeys and squirrel monkeys are always possible. At the end of the hike, we will climb the highest Canopy tower in Tambopata, a great place to see the Amazon basin, recommended to see the sunset from this point.
When it gets dark we will return to our lodge and leave with the boat to do one of the most exciting activities …caiman spotting at night, we will go looking for white and black caimans along the Tambopata river bank with a big flashlight, we can see more Capivaras (capybaras) and there is always a chance to see an ocelot or a jaguar by the river.
