Our boat will be waiting for us to take us 25 minutes up the river until we arrive to our lodge “Colpas Tambopata Inn”, we will have good chances of spotting capybaras and many shorebirds along the river bank, arriving at the lodge we will get a welcome drink.
After lunch we will hike, first in a secondary forest and then in a primary forest full of huge trees and lianas, at the same time we will talk about the most important economic activities of this region. Chances to see some brown capuchin monkeys and squirrel monkeys are always possible. At the end of the hike, we will climb the highest Canopy tower in Tambopata, this is a great place to see the Amazon basin and what better to see the sunset from here.
In the evening hours we will take our flashlights and next to the boat we will do one of the most exciting activities… caiman spotting at night, we will go looking for white and black caimans along the river bank with a big flashlight, we will also see more Capybaras (capybaras) and if there is a chance to see an ocelot or a jaguar by the river.

We will start at 5:00 a.m., have hot drinks to recover energy and go up the Tambopata in our boat for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Crossing the government check point. Arriving at our destination, we will have a show at the Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick, where parrots and macaws, green, red, blue and yellow birds will fly around us, it will be spectacular this behavior that they do every day in these morning hours to eat clay. We will spend from 6:30 am to 11:00 am approx.
Our breakfast will be in front of the Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick.
At the end of this activity, in Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick Tambopata, we will take our way down river to the lodge, we will make a brief stop at the check point to learn more about the small museum here, after this we will continue to our lodge to take a break.
Lunch, and then in the afternoon we will have the Kayak activity this is a very beautiful experience paddling alone and enjoying a lot. then at night after dinner we will have a night walk in the middle of the forest, the sounds of the night, the insects, spiders, tarantulas, frogs and maybe snakes will make this night walk something difficult to forget.
